Coronavirus Statement



We are now able to allow livery access, including loan livery and to taking bookings for lessons in a restricted way in order to still conform with national requirements, both to protect clients and our staff and students.

The following criteria will apply:

Clients will be welcome to come into the designated area and arenas but we would ask you NOT  to enter the stable areas in order to protect centre staff and students.

All liveries, including Stablemates, must arrange time slots with the yard prior to arriving.

We are now able to offer small group lessons (up to five people), private lessons and semi-private   Lessons will are now available for 60 minutes, 45 minutes and 30 minutes. Pony Club and British Horse Society training and assessment is available for individuals or groups.

We can only accept bookings from competent riders or those who are assisted by a competent individual from the same household. They must be able to take the horse unaided from the designated area to the arena, organise the tack and mount ready for their lesson, and return the horse to the designated area  at the end of the lesson. Mounting and dismounting will take place during the lesson time slot. 

We will only take bookings from clients who are from households who have been observing strict social distancing, are non-symptomatic and who have observed all government requirements during lockdown.

Should your situation change between booking a lesson and the lesson day we will accept cancellations with no fee providing we have a minimum of 1 hours notice.

All riders must wear their own hats and P.P.E. including clean gloves and must make use of sanitising facilities upon arrival. Special hat and glove purchase is available from our online shop. 

Owing to the current situation no hats or boots are available for hire.(Equipment can be purchased in advance from GH Country Ltd - based at the centre.

All lessons must be paid for at the time of booking using our NEW app or online at  To protect our team please contact the office by phone or email.

Only one spectator per lesson will be permitted, and only for riders under 18.

Arena space will be strictly limited in order to maintain social distancing therefore all lessons and livery times will be strictly coordinated.

Clients are asked not to arrive at the stables more than 10 minutes before their lesson time and to depart immediately following their lesson.

All lessons will be strictly risk assessed and kept within riders competence.

We will be offering jump lessons jump lessons from 13.6.2020

We are also advised by the BHS that it is now permitted to travel horses for training and so can welcome people with their own horses for private lessons subject to meeting all criteria.

We reserve the right to check clients temperature on arrival.
